My fiancé and best friend are huge F1 fans and reading this made me want to get into it more. This also got me out of a slump and I even read it in one sitting. What an incredible debut novel and I’m so excited for the rest of this series.

Ryder was the ultimate teammate to Blake from day one. I love that he was so unconditionally supportive of her while fighting his own demons. Blake is a badass all on her own but with the incredible support system she had on top of it, I was not surprised she was able to live out her dreams. The two of them together, the best duo. Always supportive, always there for each other, always communicating (hello no third act breakup)

The events, the races, the interviews, the podcasts, everything just made you feel like you were really there with them. This is how you do a sports romance!! Equal parts sports and equal parts romance. Even teared up at part and we all know I love when a book makes me cry.

*clears throat* excuse me, I have an announcement… Clean Air’s New Release Date will be DECEMBER 3, 2025.

I’ve had to make a really hard decision over the past couple weeks. With juggling some major life events, home construction, a full time job, and some creeping mental health issues, I’ve decided to push the release date of Clean Air back a few weeks.

This decision was not made lightly and there were many conversations, tears, and sleepless nights to get here. But aside from the importance of keeping my space stress free (all for my sweet baby girl) and working through some recent mental health triggers, I want to give you all AND these characters, the story they truly deserve. To do that, I just need a bit more time.

I was talking with my mom the other day, joking about how my kids will be readers since I’ve put all these books on my registry, and she told me she always thought I’d be into books because I loved them as a kid.

But the sad truth is, I lost the draw to reading for years. Art took the forefront and I honestly didn’t pick up a single book again until three years ago.

And I never looked back.

600 books read later and I’ve gone from reading the amazing worlds others created, to building my own.

I’m not going to lie and say this is all so easy, because it’s not. Imposter syndrome is VERY real and set backs are a given. But none of that will stop me. I’m going to continue to push myself because the little girl whose favorite time of the day was her night time readings wouldn’t want me to.

Being an author is a dream I’ve always had, have put behind others, and have almost given up on. But I’m doing it, now. And I’ll forever be thankful for the amazing readers and friendships I’ve made in this space.

On a more personal note: this was only the beginning of so many things.

I became a stronger version of myself that day. I wrote down on a hospital napkin the idea for my first book that very night. I decided to look at a time that might have been filled with so much pain and the long road of recovery as a blessing in disguise. Because it was on that day that everything I thought about for my future changed.
